How Do I Begin a Relationship with Jesus?
You probably already have some thoughts about Jesus.
- Maybe you see Him as a great teacher.
- Maybe a prophet.
- Maybe you’re not even sure what you believe.
But what if He really is who He said He is?
What if Jesus is more than a historical figure — what if He is God in the flesh… the Creator stepping into our broken world to make a way back to Him

Jesus said: I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6
That may sound exclusive at first, but it’s actually the most inclusive invitation ever given.

Everyone is important to God.
You might be thinking, “Don’t I need to get my life together first” - No.
You don’t clean yourself up to earn God’s love.
You receive His love — and it begins to change you.
Through His death on the cross and His resurrection, Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness. He made a way for us to be forgiven, restored, and brought into a real relationship with God.
The Bible says: If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9
That’s it.
- Believe in your heart.
- Confess with your mouth.
- Trust Him with your life.
Becoming a follower of Jesus isn’t about rules — it’s about relationship.
- You come as you are.
- You trust Him.
- And your journey begins.
A Simple Prayer
If you’re ready to begin a relationship with Jesus, you can pray something like this:
"Jesus, I need You. I’m sorry for living life without You at the center. I believe You are the Son of God, that You died for my sin and rose again. I trust You as my Savior and Lord. Lead me. Change me. Teach me to follow You. Thank You for loving me. Amen.”
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

You can’t have a close relationship with someone you never talk to. God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us, and it’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus on a daily basis. If you want to know more about God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.

Then start reading. Even a few minutes a day can enrich your life. We suggest starting with The Gospel of John and then reading Romans.

Baptism is something Christians have been doing for thousands of years to symbolize their faith in Christ.
Baptism is a public declaration of a new association of faith in Jesus.
Even if you were baptized as an infant, we’ll baptize you again because this time it’s your choice.
