Growing up in a Christian home and being the youngest of 7 children can present many unique challenges.

 These challenges lead me down a path of wanting to understand human behavior and how it relates to our Creator. My wife and I have 6 children ranging from 10 years old all the way to 28 years old. I have worked as a plumber, building contractor, property manager, and business owner.

My hobbies are hunting, fishing, metal fabrication, winter camping, riding ATVs, and gardening. I have always had a strong desire for more understanding, so when the opportunity presented itself, I went to college.

I received a bachelor's degree in psychology (with a minor in communication) and a master's degree in clinical social work. I am passionate about working with couples and those struggling with substance abuse.

 There is hope for your relationship and help for moving past substance use. Hope, healing, and understanding along with a strong desire for change can set life back on the track that God has planned for you.

Nancy S. Farison

Nancy S. Farison is a licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with over 25 years of experience in counseling and social work.

Throughout her career, Nancy has worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, outpatient therapy, and as a Patient Services Coordinator for ALS of Southfield, MI.

Nancy's areas of expertise include depression and mood disorders, anxiety and panic disorders, grief and loss, marital and family conflict, dementia and Alzheimer's disease, ADHD/ADD, anorexia and bulimia, and recovery from religious trauma. She also has experience in counseling those dealing with acute and chronic illness, infertility, self-esteem issues, and caregiving.

In addition to her professional experience, Nancy has been recognized for her outstanding work in counseling, receiving the Readers Choice Award for Outstanding Family Counselor in Midland County in 2016.
